Our premiere location Monkey Pops in Cliffside Park, NJ was conceived to serve amazing Paletas/Popsicles and Popping Bubble Teas to children and the inner-child of adults. Growing up, we all reminisce about enjoying a refreshing ice treat on a stick. We wanted to bring this to all and have a place where ALL children both young and old can come enjoy.

At Monkey Pops, we make and serve all-natural fruit, milk, yogurt based paletas/popsicles in season. We offer a vast array of dips, dabs, drips and toppings to customize your popsicle which is part of the fun!

We specialize in Popping Bubble Teas whereby you can choose a base tea, natural flavorings and myriad of popping bubbles. We also have a snack and confectionary products section with our products imported from Japan.

Popping Boba is a little juice ball that has become increasingly popular along with the frozen yogurt craze. It is also known as Bursting Boba, Popping Boba, and Bursting Fruit Bubbles. A little smaller than the regular tapioca boba, the Popping Juice Boba is filled with fruit juice and ‘pops’ when bitten. The outside is made of a seaweed extract, creating a thin slightly gelatinous coating and isn’t chewy like the traditional boba. In a way, it’s more fun.

The inside is also seaweed extract, mixed with real fruit juice and flavors. The Popping Juice Balls are not overly sweet and offers a pleasant variety of flavors. When combined with your choice of one of our freshly brewed tea bases and natural syrups, it’s a great way to mix and match a unique drink.

Though paletas may look like ordinary popsicles, this dessert packs a much larger flavor punch. Paletas are a frozen treat made from fresh natural ripe fruits such as strawberry and mango or made from rich creamy ingredients such as Chocolate and Nutella. The right mix of these main ingredients and spices with secondary ingredients such as water, milk, condensed milk among others, opens a whole world of flavor possibilities.

Though fruits are a common base ingredient for a typical paleta, more milk-based ice cream paletas are also available. For those less interested in fruity flavors, our paleta shops offer classic creamy flavor options like Cookies & Cream, Coffee, Peanut Butter Chocolate.

The key to delicious paletas is their simplicity. Natural fruits, a bit of water, and other ingredients like yogurt are blended, then poured into a mold and chilled. The process may change based on ingredients. Some paletas include a deliciously oozy cream, caramel, condensed milk, dulce de leche or mascarpone.

When making gourmet paletas, quality ingredients are of paramount importance. At Monkey Pops, we use all-natural, fresh and ripest ingredients. To ensure each paleta reaches its full potential, we make them in micro batches. With our focus on quality, you’ll taste the difference.

Aside from having a high-quality delicious product, you can enhance and personalize your experience by dipping, dabbing, dripping and topping your paleta and adding some toppings to take the flavor and texture to another level!
